Ms. Nanako Ishido will be appointed as Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Media Design

Keio University Graduate School of Media Design (known as KMD, Dean: Professor Masa Inakage) is pleased to announce that Ms. Nanako Ishido will be appointed as Associate Professor effective April 1, 2014.
As the president of CANVAS, a nonprofit organization that promotes active learning for kids, and as the CEO of Digital Ehon corp., a digital creation platform provider, Ms. Ishido is leading global initiatives that foster expressive power and creativity of children in the digital age, including the world’s biggest experiential learning activity event for kids: “Workshop Collection”. She also serves as a member of various government committees.
At KMD, she will engage in “Digital Kids”, a multifaceted project on developing creativity workshops, promoting digital textbooks, and other research activities.
