KMD Embodied Media Project Presents “Encounters”: An Exhibition Showcasing Innovations in Experience Design
2024.05.16
The exhibition “Encounters” will be held as an event to exhibit the results of research and creative activities related to experience design in the KMD Embodied Media Project.
In recent years, the Embodied Media Project has focused on exploring new forms of expression based on space and the human body. This exhibition focuses in particular on exploring the interaction between physical space and the human body through experiential exhibits. It also seeks to create interactive experiences that utilize human sensation and kinaesthetics by pursuing new forms of expression centered on embodiment. Furthermore, we incorporate the latest technologies such as augmented reality, attempting to fuse physical presence with digital expression. In this way, we are expanding the possibilities of new visual and experiential expressions that differ from the conventional, and we are proposing a future form of expression.
The exhibition consists of five works by several second-year master’s students and doctoral students. Each work will be prepared primarily as an interactive work that visitors can actually experience. We look forward to your participation.
