Mr. Matthew Waldman Appointed as the Professor of the Graduate School of Media Design – Internationally acclaimed designer to join KMD –

Keio University Graduate School of Media Design (known as KMD, Dean: Masa Inakage) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Matthew Waldman as a Professor effective September 1, 2017.

Mr. Waldman is an internationally recognized designer, artist and entrepreneur well known as a founder of NOOKA, one of the first brands to bring the revolution of interactive design to physical products. Two of his designs were selected to be in the permanent collection of Greenwich Time Museum in UK. Prior to starting NOOKA, he has worked for Random House, Condé Nast, and Reuters.

At KMD, Mr. Waldman will share his experiences in design, entrepreneurship, and moreover, his obsession with universal linguistics and narrative driven design processes for the next generation of creators.

Keio University Graduate School of Media Design is inviting leading experts from all fields and providing top-level education and research to foster world-class creative leaders (media innovators) in the digital media arena.
