Biography

After earned his PhD from Kobe University Graduate School, with his colleagues in RIKEN BSI, he developed the substitutional reality system, in which the border between physical and virtual reality is ambiguous. At RCAST, the University of Tokyo, he engaged in the development of skill knowledge sharing and human augmentation techniques. The underlying theme is the properties emerged by mixing phenomena from different levels (intentional/forced motion, spontaneous/stimulus-driven neural activities, etc.). Joined JST Moonshot Cybernetic being Project since 2022.
