Cybernetic being Meetup vol.01 – The Potential of Harmonious Co-experience and Collective Ability by Recording and Sharing Skills

The Cybernetic Being Meetup is an event hosted by the “Project Cybernetic Being” under the Moonshot R&D Program Goal 1 by the Japan Science and Technology Agency: “Realization of a society in which human beings can be free from limitations of body, brain, space, and time by 2050”. The first Cybernetic Being Meetup will focus on the theme “The Potential of Harmonious Co-experience and Collective Ability by Recording and Sharing Skills”. We will explore what our lives might look like in a future society where avatar technology enables people to connect and transmit skills. We will consider a vision of a society where skills are recorded, shared, and freely utilized.
For this event, we have invited professor Minamizawa from KMD the project manager for this project, professor Tanaka from Nagoya Institute of Technology as a task leader of this project, and Mr. Haraoka from the Japan Craft Industry Association to join us in the discussion.
