1st Year Keio Graduate School PhD Student, Kenji Itoso, Leads Opening Animation Sequences for the Live Action Film of Attack on Titan, Featured in CGWORLD.

1st year Keio Graduate School PhD student, Kenji Itoso, lead production for the opening animation sequences on the live action movie based on the mega hit manga, Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人), which has sold over 50 million copies worldwide. Interweaving rotoscope, projection mapping, and other video production techniques, Itoso won acclaim for his novel animation style, and will be featured in the 2015 September issue (vol. 205) of CGWORLD documenting the process.

The first half of the movie began showing on August 1st, and the second half will open in theaters across Japan beginning on September 19th. The film will also see distribution in 63 locations around the world.
