KMD Play Project Developed an “ART meets AR” Themed Instagram AR Effect in Partnership with Spiral

Spiral/Wacoal Art Center has joined forces with Keio Media Design Play Project AR/T group to collaborate with artists to create interactive AR effects that transform their artistic visions into playful experiences. The first AR effect is developed with paper cut artist “tanaka macoto”.

AR/T project explores how augmented reality transforms arts experience in public space.
Owning art has been considered a privilege, an exceptional experience only shared by a small group of collectors and art professionals. We believe by bring artworks into existence in AR space, more people will be able to enjoy the experience of having art as part of their daily life.
